My William Evans b. 1802 in TN m. Mariah Couter b. 1804 VA, m. 1823. They were 2 William Evans in the 1830 and one in the 1840 Census. He is there in the 1850 District 2, and the 1860 census. I don't know who his family is but his children is named after a few of the Evans living there

He might have had more children, but not for sure. I found in Grainger Co. TN.these on the 1850, 1860 Census. William and Mariah moved to Sevier Tn , found them in 1870 Census, They are both burred in Pitman Center Sevier Co. TN.(Emerts Co. cemetery)
