THE information that i have , comes from my Romines genealogy book, prepared by several members of the Romines family, my decendants, these members worked long and hard for several years to prove their findings, their findings is their belief's and mine also.i diden't prove any of it.
This is the information that i have for William Bethel Romines, son of George washington Romines and Sarah Richards, he was bornjuly 15, 1826,sevier co. tenn, diedaugust 11,1839, Kodak,Sevier Co. Tn. Married (1)
Nancy Connatser1848, in sevier co. daughter of Rev. Connatser and Mary Blevins, she was born 1830 Sevier Co. Tn.and died ,august 23,1854, Sevier Co.Tn...He married (2)Ezuba M."ZUBA"Thomas Sept.1836, in Sevier Co. Tenn. died July 29,1894, Sevier Co. Tn.
Rev. Andrew Connatser married William Romines and Nancy Connatser.in 1848.He Also married his daughter Emma Connatser to Ezekiel Romines in 1844.
William romines was a veteran of both the Mexican War and the Civil War.
He served in "I"Company , 3rd, Tennessee Regiment of the US Cavalry. He caught smallpox while serving inNashville Tenn.abt. 1864. He later developed rheumatism and piles. These medical problems contributed to his death on August 11, 1893. in Kodak Tenn.
some call this man William D. Romines, not sure which is right.
