According to "The Joseph Routh Family1747-1979" by Tom Turpin and Earl and Anna Roberts, found in the Asheboro NC library, Jeremiah Routh,the 8th child of Edward Routh and Jane Douglass, was born circa 1811, maried Pheriba (Feraby) (no last name) in 1831, had a son named Solomon Redfern Routh in 1833 and moved to Illinois. The book lists the offspring of Solomon down to the present day. Other children of Jeremiah and Pheriba are listed as Sarah, Abel, Martha, Susan, Jermiah, and Isaac, but nothing but their approximate birth dates are included.
