I am searching for the parents of about six children who are in Crittendon, Arkansas in the 1840s and 1850s and were all born in TN. Lydia Margaret Harden (born 1824 in TN) married George Furman (from PA) in Crittendon in 1847. Margaret's siblings Malinda (born 1836 in TN) and William (born 1839 in TN) were living with them on the 1850 Crittendon census. Margaret's other siblings Martha (born 1834 in TN) and Sarah (born 1838 in TN) are living with the family of John Nelson (see below). An Archibald Harden (born 1824 in TN) lives next door to Maragaret in 1850 may also be related.
Margaret was married at the house of John Nelson and wife Laura Winchester Nelson. Two of Margaret's sisters were also living with the Nelsons at the time. The Nelsons are from Shelby, TN, which leads me to believe that this Harden family may be from there as well.
I can't figure out who the Harden parents are. Did they die early and that's why many of their children are living elsewhere?
