I'm trying to identify the spouse of, and document all known children of, Sarah BAILEY, who married a Mr. WILKERSON of Amherst Co., VA and Smith Co., TN. Sarah was the daughter of William BAILEY, who came from Amherst Co., VA to Smith Co., TN in 1817. She may have married Mr. WILKERSON in Campbell Co., VA.
She is named Sarah WILKERSON in William's Revolutionary War pension application. The only place I've found her (presumably the same person) is on the 1850 census of Smith Co., aged about 65, with a Thomas WILKERSON, aged about 25, and a Saluda WILKERSON, aged about 21. If my information is correct, Saluda married Larkin CORLEY and had at least five children.
If anyone has information about a spouse and additional children for Sarah, I would appreciate hearing from you, and will be happy to share if I have anything that might help.
