I think this may be Eleanor Thomas and daughter Ellen Kemp living with the Givens family, but the ages are way off?
Ellen, Jr. didn't marry Samuel Hewitt until 1886. The 1900 Smith Co. Census is a little hard to read but it says Ellen has 3 or 5? children living in 1900. Of course there are many errors in census records so you can't always depend that they are acurate.
