Yes I remember reading about Edward Sanders. Someone sent me some info from the Madison Co. History. Here is the census information I have on this Kemp family. 1850 Smith Co. TN Kemp, James A. 34 b. Ellen, Jr. didn't marry Samuel Hewitt until 1886. The 1900 Smith Co. Census is a little hard to read but it says Ellen has 3 or 5? children living in 1900. Of course there are many errors in census records so you can't always depend that they are acurate. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/tn/smith/census/1900/091-04b.gif Hewet Samuel Mar? 1866? 34 mar 13 yrs Hewet Ellen W.
