Hi,
My name is Gerald Jones. I live in Ramsey, Illinois. I am doing research on the family of Benjamin Jones who settled in Fayette Co, Illinois in 1821.
In the 1812 tax list there is listed a Benjamin Jones in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Does anyone have any information on a Benjamin Jones and family? By 1810 Benjamin should have had one son born in 1804. His name is Bowling Jones. Another son was born in 1811. Both sons were born in Tennessee.
Sometime before 1818 the Jones Family moved to Washington County, Illinois.
Any information would be appreciated.
