Hi - My name is Judy (Jones) Evans and I'm looking for information on my grandfather, Pompey Demon Jones. He was born to Martha Jones in 1875 in Rock Springs, Tennessee (I think). Martha's father was David Jones and her mother, Matilda Smalling. Pompey was the youngest of four brothers, who were all born in Sullivan County: Elbert Bruce (b. 1859); Samuel R (b. 1864) and William N (b. 1868). I have been unable to locate information on their father. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
