My interests lie with Rebecca Taylor. Although I have never met her, we have corresponded for about 1 1/2 years via emails concerning our family trees. What turned out to be a simple request by her to me in assisting her on a family question, turned out to be a unique and rewarding friendship amongst researchers.
It is her connections to the Newland family that brought us to Samuel A. Newland and his wife, Helen A. Brown. I’ll try and make this as “non-confusing” as possible; Samuel’s grandfather was a half brother to Rebecca Taylor’s 4th great grandfather.
As you can witness, Rebecca and I have done quite a bit of digging together. We have no blisters yet that I’m aware of but we have pulled quite a bit of hair out in our journeys.
Rebecca saw your post yesterday and advised me of your quest. We wish & hope you luck in your research and many more travel.
