Can anyone help me with a mysterious inscription on a tombstone in Townsend Cemetery in Covington, Tipton Co. On the tombstone of John W. Martin, who was a Confederate veteran, is a round insignia with the letters K.O.T.M. I assume it is some sort of association (nothing bad, I hope) but I have not been able to identify it. Any ideas?
