WILLIAM PORTER WALKER, 16, of Brighton, junior at Brighton High School, died Monday at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis of injuries in an auto accident. Services will be at noon Saturday at Millington Naval Chapel. Munford (Tenn.) Funeral Home has charge. He was a Methodist, a member of the marching and jazz bands at Brighton High School, and had won the Southwest Electric Essay contest and the Art Contest at Brighton High School. He leaves his parents, William Powell and Elizabeth Youngs Walker; a sister, Brenda Walker; and a brother, Bob Walker, all of Brighton; and his grandparents, Nelda Walker of Houston, Texas, Roberta and Frank Cordova and Bill Youngs, all of El Paso, Texas.
