I'm also researching the line of a John T.(Tuggle)Boone, and I've reached a dead end. I'm also looking at Joseph G. Boone's family, but I'm sure he's not the grandfather of my John T. Boone. I found where he and his brother Robert Boone moved to Tennessee around 1827. Joseph's line (i.e. children) is pretty well documented on Ancestry.com, and none of his kids fit my line. He was a presbyterian preacher and apparently remarried and moved to Texas. Robert's line however is a strong possibility, but his line is not shown anywhere that I can find. He was born in 1803 or 1804 in Wayne Co., Tn and died in Tipton County, Tn, in 1837. I'm actually searching for information on Ratliff H. Boone, born in Tennessee in 1834, along with a sister named Amanda, who was born in 1829, in Tennessee. Unfortunately, I've been unable to find any information on his parents. If you have any information on Robert Boone, would greatly appreciate it.
