I am helping a friend who is a descendent of Thomas Goode(Rev.War Soldier) document her lineage. Could someone furnish a primary or
seconday source that would connect his son, Joseph Hawkins
Goode to his son, Thomas Jefferson(grandson to Thomas of Rev War) b. 1817 d. 1910 Union Co., MS? Birth/death records in MS started in 1912 Joseph H died Dec 1831 in Tipton Co., TN.and there doesn't appear to be a will. His wife Margaret resettled in MS & then on to AR.
where she probably died aft 1860.
We are able to document Joseph through the pension papers of his father.
Also, The "Goode" Book, does it furnish primary & secondary
sources?
Any info is appreciated in connecting the two.
