Leonard CLARK (b 1781 Halifax Co VA) married Ann SNODDY around 1803 or 1804, also in Halifax Co VA. They had several children in the county, before moving to middle TN between 1814 - 1819.

They were in Smith Co TN in 1824, and remained there until Leonard's death, sometime after 1834.

Lenard CLARK's son, John Lawson CLARK (b ca 1814 Halifax Co VA) married Lydia WARD in TN in 1832. Their first dau was born in 1834 in Wilson Co TN. They are found in the 1840 Wilson Co TN census. Between 1840 and 1850 they moved to Osage Co MO, where they remained and raised a large family.
