Joseph Eddins was born 1794 to William Eddins and Rebecca Chandler in Laurens Co., SC. (Eddins orginally from VA). William and Rebecca moved to Wilson CO., TN about 1807. Joseph married Parthenia Henderson Jan 18, 1817 in Wilson, TN. Three known children are William (b. 1818) Robert Jackson (b. 1821) and Samuel (b. 1822). Joseph moved his family to Marshall Co., MS. Looking for real birth date of Joseph, and burial location. Need all information on Parthenia Henderson, including parents. It was recorded in family bible that Joseph died at 33 years old on October 22, 1827. So Parthenia may have remarried in MS. Their son Robert Jackson married Mary A. Roberts and moved to Shelby Co., Texas. Appears in 1850 census.
