This probably won't really be of any help to you, but just in case, while going through the online Wilson Co. Marriage Index, I came across the marriage of Bracston HILL to Polly TARPLEY, 11 Dec 1827. I'm researching my HILL family who may have come to Wilson Co. from N.C. and then moved to Obion Co. TN by 1827. There may be more TARPLEYs in the marriage index. I'm not sure. Good luck with your search.
