I have no actual JACKSON info except for a mention of Reuben JACKSON in an eserpt from "Obion County History" by E.H. Marshall:
"Among the first pioneers of Obion County was my grandfather
Samuel P. CURLIN who came from Halifax Co., North Carolina to Lebabon, TN in 1822 where he married Charlotte Edwards, who he had known in their former home in the old North State. They came to Obion Co. in the fall of 1827. With them came John HARPOLE and family, ancestor of Mr. Andrew HARPOLE. The names of some of the old settlers who came near that time were Reuben JACKSON, Isham CONNER, JONES, Hill, THORNTON, and BETTIS."

I hope this may help in some way. Good luck with your search.
Brenda
