I am searching for the parents of Polly A. Bass b. abt. 1817 TN. m. Henry Kemp on February 9, 1844, Wilson County.
Polly and Henry are listed in the 1850 census in Macon County TN, and after Henry's death in 1857, Polly is listed in the 1860 census in Wilson County TN, with her children , Jancine b. 1847, Julia b. 1846 and Harvey b. 1850.
I am also searching for any information on one of Polly's children. The 1850 census lists the child born to Polly and Henry in 1847 as Jinks Cy - male, but in 1860 as Jancine - female. I would like to confirm the actual identity of Jinks Cy / Jancine.
If you have any information re the parents of Polly A. Bass, or even any ideas re the "Jinks Cy / Jancine" issue, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ~ Judy
