The "Index to Wilson Co. TN WILLS and Administrations, 1802-1861", by Sistler, lists the following BASS individuals who had records in Probate in the year noted:
Susan Bass 1825
Theophilus Bass 1826
Sion Bass 1847
John B. Bass 1852
Cato Bass 1858
Cader Bass 1859
Amzi Bass 1862

One of the above individuals might be a parent to your Polly Bass. You can obtain copies of these Probate records from the Wilson Co. TN ARCHIVES in Lebanon, TN (for a small fee)
