I am looking for information about Williams' of Wilson County Tennessee. John Isaac Williams was born abt 1819/1820 and he married Mary "Polly" Alexander. They had 2 sons (E Monroe and Isaac Alexander) before moving to Illinois. Alexander's Civil War muster roll says his nativity is Statesville, Wilson County, TN. Because John Williams is so common, I am stuck. Any information would be of great help
