Wiley, I looked through the census and found one John Dill born in TN that's of approx. the right age for child #3 on this one, 1842 instead of 1844, but you know how census ages are...Anyway, I tracked him through and here is what I found:
1870 Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., TN

This is the only one I could find, except one that pops up out of nowhere on the 1880 and 1900 in Montgomery Co., TN. That one is the same age, but is married to a Parthenia, with a son Robert. Since Rutherford Co. is closer to Wilson Co. than Montgomery Co. is, I thought I'd run with that. There are none in IL at all.
