Thanks for the post Beverly. Are you related to Evelyn? I have emailed her back and forth a couple of times.
I have Henry Louis Tobler's parents as Adolf Tobler and Elizabeth Berolli. I initially found that at ancestry.com family tree. In the 1850's Census Elizabeth is living with a Schroeder Tobler and he is listed below the children Rudolph and William. Schroeder is the same age as Adolf so I don't know if that is another name he might have gone by. William is born about the same time as when I have found both Henry Louis and Joseph Alois was to be born. That is the website address for Joseph Alois's birth and his father's name was Rudolph so maybe Adolf was short for Rudolph. Please let me know what you think.
