I'm another Tookey in the States. I'm the granddaughter of William Edward Tookey who moved to Michigan from Canada and the daughter of Carl William Tookey. My father mentioned once that our family tree was traced back to Kent but I don't know of any connections that still may be there. I'm sure he'd be very interested if I could find anything out through everybody else's research.
