Hi Nev and Andrew
Seems we are all linked via our New Zealand connection.
I'm unsure as to whether you are both still actively connected to the site as your messages where posted a few years ago. Nice to make your acquaintance in any case!
In actuality, i happened across this site by chance. I was fishing on the net re making a connection in relation to finding my maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Tozer, who I believe originated from the South Island.
Unfortunately, my mother, Julia Dawn Martin (nee Chapman) having been adopted out by Elizabeth to a good family in Auckland 1944, is now deceased and as such I can no longer make contact with my grandmother through her. She was a great mother.
I would dearly like to make contact with Elizabeth if at all possible. I realise of course that this may come as a huge shock to an old lady and that is not my intention - this is also the reason that I have held off searching until now.
On the alternative side of the coin it may well answer questions that both I, and Elizabeth, have carried with us for years.
My intent is not to be intrusive or offensive.
