Dear George No I did not say that Hans Trayle is John. The name in the record you gave me was Hans Hamilton John Trayles Uncle born about 1620. Hans Trail born 1658 is John Trayles younger brother, and named after his mother's brother. John was born in 1655. He died unmarried. Hans Traill who had five children died in April 1692.
As for Henry Loftus, We do know that other migrants travelled with the Rev. William Traill in 1683, but not their individual names, just that there was a group of settlers Elsie
