I found the following information interesting in light of my recent discovery that John Treely was transported into Maryland 1682 by Capt. John Browne. I descend from Notley Trail (1795-1875) who married Virlinda Ricketts. Virlinda Ricketts was the daughter of Nicholas Ricketts and Mary Warfield. Mary Warfield born about 1750 in Ann Arundel descended from Richard Warfield Sr. who came to Ann Arundel,Maryland about 1660. Richard Warfield Sr. married Elinore Browne the daughter of mariner Capt. John Browne. Capt. John Browne was the largest merchant trader between London and Maryland. I was surprised to find out I am a descendant of Capt. John Browne, the very man who transported John Treely into Maryland. John Treely(died 1691) at this time seems to be the strongest candidate yet to be the possible father of David Trail Sr. of Prince Georges County (1677-1752).
