My Traweek line is spelled all different ways. Trawick, Traywick, Traweek and others. Back to the 1600's. Now some of the lines may have kept one spelling, however I have some brothers who spelled their last names different. I have over 8000 names in database of the Traweek line that spelled at least three different ways, descendants of Robarde who came from England in the 1600's. Your sources should have the proof. Many could not spell or the ones recording the information. It was spelled the way it sounded. This is true in most families that came over in the early history 17th and 18th century.
