I have a different family line than those that are mentioned: i.e. Nathaniel Tripp, of whom I have never heard of before. My husband and I have been researching our family ancestors and this is what I have concerning the parents of John Tripp, married to Isabel Moyses.

GENERATION ONE
1. George Trippe, was born 1525 in England and died about 1580 in England. He married Margarie, born in England and were married about 1545. They had the following children:
i. Thomas of Horkstow born in England
ii. Agnes, born c. 1545 England
iii. John, born c. 1550 England
iv. Edward of Eaglesham born c. 1555 England
v. Margaret, born c. 1561 England

GENERATION TWON

1. John Tripp, born c. 1550 in England married Margaret who died c. 1623. They had the following children:
i. Robert born c. 1579
ii. Thomas born c. 1581
iii. William, born c. 1583
iv. John, born c. 1587
v. Elizabeth

GENERATION THREE

1. John Tripp, born 1587 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and married Isabel Moyses, daughter of Ncholas Moyses, who died June 1609 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was buried June 11, 1609. Isabel was born March 1586 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was christened March 20, 1584. She died November 1654 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was buried November 4, 1654 in Horkstow. She and John were married July 30, 1609 in Horkstow.
They had the following children:
i. John was born February 6, 1610 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was christened September 8-11, 1611. He died October 28, 1678 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island and was a signer of the second Portsmouth Compact, which was considered the firt Democratic government in America. John married Mary, the daughter of Anthony Paine and Rose Potter. She was born in 1618 in Lincolnshire, England and died February 12, 1687 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island. They were married April 4, 1639 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
ii. Grace (a twin) was born January 1613 and was christened January 27, 1613 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and died February 1613 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England. She was buried February 7, 1613 in Horkstow.
iii. Robert (a twin to Grace) was born January 1613 and was christened January 27, 1613 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England. He died February 1613 in Horkstow and was buried February 10, 1613 in Horkstow.
iv. Francis, a male, was born February 1614 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was christened February 10, 1614 in Horkstow. He died October 1675 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was buried October 10, 1675. He married Elizabeth Greene, who was died December 1671 and was buried December 12, 1671. They were married May 11, 1641 in Horkstow.
v. Elizabeth was born December 1616 and was christened December 15, 1616 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England. She died July 1648 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was buried July 19, 1648.
vi. Dorothie was born March 1618 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was christened March 20, 1618. She died August 1824 in Horkstow and was buried August 19, 1624.
vii. Anne was born July 1621 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was christened July 7, 1621. She died February 1626 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was buried February 22, 1626.
viii. Robert was born May 1625 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was christened May 8, 1625. He married Elizabeth Ostler on May 5, 1652 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England.
ix. Bridget was born September 1629 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England and was christened September 20, 1629. She died February 1630 in Horkstow and was buried February 4, 1630.

GENERATION FOUR

1. John Tripp, born February 6, 1610 in Horkstow, Lincolnshire, England; was christened September 8-11, 1611, and died October 28, 1678 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island was married April 4, 1639 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island. The daughter of Anthony and Rose Potter Paine, she was born in 1618 in Lincolnshire, England and died February 12, 1687 in Portsmouth. They had the following children:
i. John was born about 1640 in Portsmouth and died November 20, 1719 in South Kingston, Washington County, Rhode Island. He married Susanna Anthony September 17, 1665 in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. She was born in 1644 in Portsmouth and died in 1716 in Portsmouth.
ii. Peleg (my line) was born 1642 in Portsmouth and died November 13, 1714 in Portsmouth. He married Anne Sisson, daughter of Richard and Mary Atkinson Sisson. Anne was born in 1648 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts and died January 13, 1713 in Dartmouth. She and Peleg were married about 1665 in Portsmouth.
iii. Joseph was born about 1644 and died November 27, 1718 in Dartmouth. He married Mehitable Fish, born about 1648 in Newport County, Rhode Island. They were married August 6, 1667 in Rhode Island.
iv. Mary was born in 1646 in Portsmouth and died in 1716. She married before 1663 in Portsmouth to Gershom Wordell, son of William and Mary Wordell.
v. Elizabeth was born about 1648 in Portsmouth and died about 1706 in Portsmouth. She married Zuriel Hall, son of William Wordell and Mary Hall? Wordell. They were married before 1676 in Portsmouth.
vi. Alice was born about 1650 in Portsmouth and died in 1710 in Portsmouth. She married January 16, 1671 in Portsmouth to William Hall, son onf William Wordell and Mary Hall? Wordell.
vii. Isabel was born about 1651 in Portsmouth and died about 1716 in Portsmouth. She married March 4, 1675 in Portsmouth to Sampson Sherman, born April 1642 in Rhode Island.
viii. Abiel was born about 1653 in Portsmouth and died October 10, 1684 in Portsmouth.
ix. James was born about 1656 in Portsmouth and died May 30, 1730 in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts. He married Lydia, last name not known February 3, 1681. She was born c. 1658 in Portsmouth.
x. Martha was born about 1658 in Portsmouth and died about 1717 in Portsmouth. She was married to Samuel Sherman, born circa 1648 and died circa 1717 in Portsmouth.

We also have the children of those listed above and so forth.
Maybe someone has more info that will fit into this line. Would especially like to go further back from George.
Any help on that would be greatly appreciated.
We also had that Anne Tripp had married an Edmund Ingalls, but have found that is false. Another Ann married an Ingalls, but not ours. She died when a little girl.
