Notes:
Martin Tschudy, the cooper, legitmate son of Martin Tschudy of Frenkendorf and Eliasbeth Tschudy, bapt. July 31, 1735. Immigrated together with: (1) his wife (Anna Boni);(2) their four children (Martin, bapt 7 Nov 1757; Johannes, bapt. 4 Mar 1759; Elisabeth, bapt. 23 May 1762; Anna, bapt. 22 July 1764); (3) his mother Elsbeth Tschudy; (4) his brother Johannes Tschudy, (carpenter) together with his wife and three children. The family lived in PA (York & Chester Cos.) until late 1780s, then migrated via VA to KY,settling near Mt. Sterling and Winchester in Bluegrass country.
