I am searching for a John Turtill born abt. 1828 England, John married Elizabeth(Mary) Dewis , on the 30 Mar. 1886 Manhattan New York. John was a Boot/Shoe Dealer. I THINK (?) Johns parents were: John and Mary (Dakin/Deacon) Turtill. John born abt. 1807 Suffolk England.

1880c Manhattan New York show John and wife Mary with 3 children , John age 24, Harriet age 22, and Harry age 17. All the children were born in England, so John and Mary must have went back to England.
