Hi Donna.
I am descended from Magdelena Twiney and Simon Uber. Abraham and Simon were two of Peter and Anna Maria (Zeigler) Uber's 9 children. Magdelena (whose parents are still unknown to me) first married Simon, who was ten years older than Abraham. Simon and Magdelena had 5 children (Maria, Elizabeth, Magdelena, Catherine, and Daniel). I am descended form Elizabeth, who married Clement Pearson. Simon died in Mercer Co., PA, in 1798. By 1799 Magdelena was married to Abraham Uber, and they had 8 more children (Hannah, Simon, Abraham, John or Johannes, Sara, Peter or Bader, Michael, and Thomas). I have a 1798 German family bible in which these names are all written, in German, I believe by one of Elizabeth & Clement Pearson's children.
Simon and Abraham's other siblings were Elizabeth, Peter, Jacob, John, Anna Catherine, Michael, and Anna Mary. (They are not listed in the Bible.)
