My great grand father was Solomon Uber. From what I understand, Westmoreland County was split up sometime in the past forming a few counties, one of them was Mercer County. I'm not sure what you have found, but maybe the person you are looking for never moved, the name of the county was changed. If you have more information on the Uber family it would be very helpful. My great aunt is trying to make a family tree. Her name is Helen Zambino. She might have contacted you already. Also, I'm trying to find when the Uber family came to America. If you have any information on this, it would be very helpful. Thank you for your time.
