Am looking for someone from Wm and Minerva's children that might know Minerva's maiden name.
Wm and Minerva lived in 1860 census Jefferson, Mercer, Pennsylvania
1870 onward to 1900 census they lived in Liberty, Mercer, Pennsylvania
1900 census shows that they had 10 children br to them with 5 still living. That they were married abot 1855 and Minerva was br in Pa.
The 1910 Miracode Index shows that Minerva was br in Maryland and not Pennsylvania as the census records show. Census records also show that her father was br in NJ and her mother was br in Maryland.
Names of children found in the census are
Letitia, Susanna, Michael, Mary Ann, Annie, Hannah, Harvey S,
Henry S., Jane E, Joseph, Fanny M.
Census records show that Wm was married befor as there were 2 sons found in 1860 census Perry and James W.
I think that Minerva's maiden name was Westlake and she was sister to my 4th Great-Grandmother Mary Ann Wilson nee Westlake. Mother would have been a Sarah -----br Maryland and father might have been either Joseph or Josiah Westlake br NJ
Does anyone know of this Uber family?
