Guten Tag, Melissa,
so your ancestors seem to be from Halle an der Saale in Saxony. That is good to know because there is at least one more Halle in Germany: in Westphalia. Any idea if the Ufers were Evangelical Lutheran or Catholic?
If interested I can post a search message in one of the numerous genealogical forums we have in Germany, and we will see if anybody replies.
