I have always heard and believed that all Cornish are Celts. I belong to the Pacific Northwest Cornish Society, and all members agree that we are of Celtic heritage, not English. My grandmother Uglow's maiden name was Rosevear, also strictly Cornish. We celebrate St Piran's day on March 5, much as the Irish do St Patrick's Day on March 17 - it's just that not that many are aware of St Piran, or that Cornwall is Celtic.
Cornwall is also predominantly Methodist, unlike England which is Anglican.
