Hannah (Forrest) Upshaw died about 1763, as her will dated December 1, 1762 in Essex Court. She made bequests to her son John Upshaw, daughter Margaret Hipkins, grandsons, Leroy Upshaw, Richard Hipkins, and John Upshaw, granddaughters Milley Upshaw,Mary Upshaw, and Sarah Upshaw, Mary Ann Roane, and Martha Hipkins. Divided into seven equal parts daughter's Hannah,Ann, Sarah, Margaret, sons Jeremiah, and John Upshaw, and grandson Thomas Cooper Dickinson.
