Isaac Uptegraff is the brother of Mary Updegrove who married John Dewees in Mispillion Hundred, Kent County, Delaware. They also moved to Fayette County, PA. John and Mary's youngest son was named after Isaac, that is, Isaac Updegrove Dewees. Mary died on November 5, 1818, in Fayette County, PA. I would love to hear from Isaac's descendants as to burial sites in Fayette County. I know that John and Mary were in the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Fayette. I am a Dewees researcher who has their lines traced back to Holland, and closely associated with the Op Den Graeff's. Mary descends through Herman Op Den Graeff and Deborah Bebber. Will exchange data.
