Lafayette Urich is the son of David Urich and Anna Eckenrode. This family is on the 1850 census of Jackson Twn. Mahoning Co., Ohio. On the 1860 census of Jackson, Mahoning Co, Lafayette, a brother Absolam and sister Laura are living with John and Maria Catherine (Follweiler) Eckenrode and are listed as Eckenrodes, not Urichs. I have not located him on the 1870, but have on the 1880 and 1910 census in Michigan. I have not figured out who David Urich's father is, but I am doing a vast research on the Urich / Urick familes of Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio in hopes of finding my great grandmother's family. In doing this, I have collected a very extensive file on several families, so should I find David's father, I will post here.
