Benjamin Franklin Hopgood was my great grandfather. He was from Kentucky and married Ellen K. Farley. They had two daughters, Meota Hopgood and Ethel Lynn Hopgood both in Henderson. The family moved to El Centro, California and is found in the 1920 census there. The daughters married two brothers, Cecil Aynes and Sammy Aynes, respectively. Each couple had one daughter. Meota and Cecil had Betty Jane Aynes and Ethel and Sammy had Beverly June Aynes. Beverly June Aynes married Jack D. Davis in 1945. She was my mother.
I am researching both the Aynes family and the Hopgood family. Any information I can find on either of these families will be greatly appreciated.
