I am looking for birthplace, ancestors and siblings of Richard Calhoun, d. 3 Apr 1888, who served in the 4th Kentucky Infantry for 18 months between 1846 and 1848. He married Margaret Mary "Peg" Coppage on 20 Nov 1861; their son Joel Newton Calhoun was born 26 Feb 1866.
