Actually, the Albert Vadney (Born March 1865) I am related to was the twin brother of Albertus Vadney. Both Albert and Albertus owned the Albany Last Factory on Liberty Street. I have a copy of an ad for their factory from a book published in Albany about 1910. The 1920 census shows him living on Van Vechten Avenue in Albany with spouse Florence Mull and children Mildred, LeRoy, Hazel, and Laura.

Your Albert may still be related. There were a lot of Vadneys in the Albany area, and the name Albert seems to be fairly common in the Vadney line. My gggrandfather, Augustus, had at least one other brother, and may have had others. I wish I had more info on Augustus or his siblings so we could possibly connect the two. All I know so far is that he came from Canada, but I don't know where he lived or when he and his spouse died, but it was between 1865 and 1880, where I show Albert and Albertus living with their uncle.

Thanks.
