Grandparents -----------Patrick Vahey & Margaret O'Hora
Great Grandparents------Fergus Vahey & Margaret Prendergast.

Rev. John William Vahey was born near Castlebar, County Mayo, Connaught in June of 1830. He died June 26, 1903 in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

This information can be found in a Book "Walworth County Wisconsin" by Albert Clayton Beckwith
