I don't know about your Henrich,but most probably he is related to my ancestor,Johanne Luise VAHLE who married and lived for many years in St Louis,MO. She came to the US sometime before November of 1867 from Germany. She was born 8 June 1843,but haven't found exactly where yet.In Hanna's obit she was survived by a brother August VAHLE (Burlington,IA) Have you checked passenger lists or immigration records? Or was he born in Missouri?
