Hello!

I was very interested in your message. My grandfather's father Firmin died in the early 1960's at about the age of 96. My grandfather, Napoleon, was 92, born 1899, when he died. We are also descendants of Robert Vaillancourt and live in South Central Wisconsin. My parents emigrated from Toronto, Canada in 1960. My father was born and baptized in St Prosper, Quebec.

Recently, my aunt Rolande, also a Vaillancourt, mentioned that we may have some Huron Indian blood in the family somewhere. I have always believed that there is some Indian blood in the family because of the phenotype or expressed genetic features of many of the Vaillancourt offspring, such as a sort of elongated nose and a ruddy complexion. Please contact me if you have any new information. I will try to contact my aunt through my cousin, who is a Vaillancourt by her mother's side.

Regards,

Bertrand John Charles Vaillancourt
