I am the granddaughter of Thomas Edward Vaillancourt/Smart, I am looking for more information on his family line. All I know about him is that he was from Van Courver Canada and that he lived in Old Town Maine. I am not sure of his birth year, so I will guess around the late 1800's or early 1900's. My mother was born in 1924 and she was one of 13 children in her family. Her mother's name was Louise Roy and I don't know much about her for I was 5 years old when she past away. My mother was around 10 or 12 when her father past away.
Can anyone help me in my quest for our family heritage line of Vaillancourt's/Smart's?
