Hi:

I have wondered why no one had placed a query on this site, since the originial spelling of the name in this county was as it was in Europe Van Leuven. I am researching the sons of Benjamin and Elizabeth ( Knickerbocker) VanLeuven, John and Cornelius, who went to Canada in the late 1700s. John's family returned to the States, as did some of Cornelius' descendants. Most of those who were descendants of Cornelius spelled the name Vanluven. But all are related. In an attempt to fill in some blank spots in the work by Audrey Van Leuven, and add the descendants of Cornelius. I would like those who find this site to contact me and let me know of your ancestry.

Thanks for your help in this matter, Howard Boswell
