Years ago I spent hundreds of hours researching Van Valkenburgs (any spelling, including with and without the "Van"), and have retrieved them from the obsolete word processer I typed them into, and I am now cleaning the files up and removing the old formating. As I get them finished, I will post them below this message.
Please note that I include sources I have checked whether or not I found any VV records in them. If I didn't find any VVs in a record, I put NV (for "no Van Valkenburg") following the entry.
At this point I cannot help anyone sort their families out beyond providing these records. On the other hand, if you would like me to look at the records for a particular county to see if any VVs were there, just send me an email, and I will put that county at the top of my VV-to-do list. It will probably take me months, even years, to do the additional research, but eventually I will get it done.
