I am very embarrassed to admit that I know little about my Varano ancestry. However, here is what I do know. My grandfather Frank Varano was born in Calabria in the 1890s and eventually settled in Chester, PA. From what I understand, he moved here when we was very young. I know I still have relatives in Calabria as my Aunt visited there several years ago and met them.

There are a lot of Varano's in the Philadelphia area, and in central PA (no known relations to me). I have come to find there are also Varano's in Michigan where I now live, but I also have no idea of any relations.
