Margaret HARRISON b. abt 1805 Lancashire, England, d. about 1880 with issue Robert VARTY b. 16 Sep 1839 Ambleside, Kendal, Westmorland, England, d. 21 May 1926 Sycamore, DeKalb, IL, USA; Agnes VARTY b. abt 1834 (same location), mar. 25 Oct 1862 Robert PERCY b. England, issue William PERCY b. 07 Nov 1871 Burlington, Kane, IL who mar. Elizabeth DELLES with issue ; Elenor VARTY(aka Eleanor or Ellen) b. abt 1836 (same location) mar. 18 Jul 1858 John MIDDLETON, with issue Robert E, Frederick W, Ernest, Mary, Ella MIDDLETON b. England ; Mary Ann VARTY, d. 1904 IA, USA mar. 11 Jul 1863 Thomas GRANGE; Thomas VARTY b. abt 1829 (same location), d. 1871; John VARTY b. abt 1831 (same location). The VARTY family immigrated directly to Illinois, USA in 1855. Robert VARTY (see above b. 1839) married Corintha Adelia BEEBE 24 Nov 1867 DeKalb CO, IL with issue Clara, Earl Willard, and Charlotte VARTY. Earl's sone (with Lotta MORRIS) was Robert Morris VARTY and he died brutally as a prisoner of war during WWII...have more information. Please feel free to contact me at mrspsp@dc.rr.com .
