My husbands paternal grandmother was named Teresa Venturini and came from San Pietro Al Natisone Azzida Udine, Italy to America in 1912 with her husband and brother. They came through Ellis Island. Teresa and her husband went on to Gary Indiana and her brother stayed in NYC area. I am told by my father in law that his mothers family also came from the Ljubljana Slovenia area and that his mother could speak several languages. Teresa's parents were Antonio Venturini and Louisa Casina. Antonio's parents were Valentino Venturini and Johanna Golanda. This is as far back as I can go with the information I have. Any connections or info you can share?
